Ms. O's Third Grade

I can't believe we made it to the last day of third grade. The last day of school is always a little bittersweet for me. I have grown attached to the kids and will be sad to see them leave Ms. O's classroom. However, I am proud of them and excited for these kids to move on to 4th grade. I know they are all going to do well next year. At the beginning of each year, I set goals for my students and I am so happy that this group of kiddos not only met all of these goals, they exceeded them! I am more than confident that they are ready for next year. We had a wonderful time at the planetarium last week! Here are some pictures from our field trip: Isaac was our final Character Ed recipient for the year. Isaac is always honest, kind, and a friend to all!! Anyone who knows Leif knows he LOVES Legos!! I was happy to see him share some of his creations with us: Katie brought in and read one of my favorite books, The Book with No Pictures. She did a wonderful job reading it to the class! Jacqui has brought in a few books to share with our class throughout the year. She brought in one of my all time favorite books written by a personal hero of mine, Of Thee I Sing: A Letter to My Daughters. It was a perfect book to end the year on because it discusses the importance of being unique and following your dreams no matter the obstacles that might be in your way. It has been an incredible year! Thank you for sharing your wonderful kids with me!! I hope you all have a wonderful summer and good luck in 4th grade :)
