The past couple of weeks have been busy in our class. I enjoyed reading the student's "Spooky Narrative." The kids did a wonderful job writing their paragraph. We did a few fun Halloween activities, including the student's Pumpkin Project. The pumpkins turned out so well. I was really proud of them! I have a few slide shows below of the class doing some fun activities for Halloween. Last week the whole third grade got together to learn some "spooky dancing." This was a fun activity and the kids had a great time! Our class had some amazing pumpkins. I loved listening to the students read and share their pumpkins to students from the first grade and parents who came to watch. A big thank you to Alexis' dad for coming in and helping in our classroom! We even put him on the spot and had him read a Halloween story to the class. Finally it was Halloween! The kids had a blast showing off their costumes to the school and families. They also enjoyed their Halloween party. A big thank you to Jessica's mom, Taylor's mom, Spencer's mom and Conner's mom for their hard work!! October was a fantastic month and I know celebrating the season with your kids made my Halloween really special!!
November is going to be another exciting month. We are currently working on our "Cats vs. Dogs" opinion writing. We will be holding a class debate on Friday, November 11th. I know that the kids are pretty excited and so am I! Thanks!! Ms. O Comments are closed.

Ms. O I was born and raised in Utah. After I graduated from the University of Utah, I lived in California, Texas, Pennsylvania and Hawaii. I am happy to be back in Utah. I enjoy paddle boarding, cooking, hiking, skiing and running. I have two adorable kids who keep me pretty busy. I love Mexican food and coffee. This is my third year at Sunrise and I am so happy to be a part of the Sunrise community. Third grade is my favorite grade! Archives
