It was wonderful to meet all of you during conferences this past week. I look forward to getting to know all of you this year. This upcoming week is going to be a busy one! We will be reviewing Unit One from Reading Street. The class will go over the spelling, vocabulary, phonics and literacy skills from the past month. Having a review week also gives us the opportunity to do a few other activities. We will be writing poems and concluding a writing activity that we started last Thursday. I have another activity that will help with the class bulletin board. The class will also be working on a couple of comprehension activities that will help the students understand their reading on a deeper and more meaningful level.
On Wednesday the class will take the Unit Two test for math. The concepts from the chapter that should be reviewed: multiplying by 0, 1, 2, 5, 9 and 10. I will also be reviewing the unit with the class. Please let me know if you would like to volunteer in the class. I have a few opportunities open. I could use volunteers in the morning 9:30-10_30 and in the afternoon 1:00-1:45. Contact me if those times will work for you. I hope you all have a wonderful week! Ms. O Comments are closed.

Ms. O I was born and raised in Utah. After I graduated from the University of Utah, I lived in California, Texas, Pennsylvania and Hawaii. I am happy to be back in Utah. I enjoy paddle boarding, cooking, hiking, skiing and running. I have two adorable kids who keep me pretty busy. I love Mexican food and coffee. This is my third year at Sunrise and I am so happy to be a part of the Sunrise community. Third grade is my favorite grade! Archives
