It has been a busy time in our classroom. The students turned in and presented their Native American projects. I enjoyed their presentations and thought their dolls turned out great! We also spent some time in Ms. Blauer's PM kindergarten class reading Christmas and winter books to our kinder friends. Ms. Blauer was happy to see some of her former students and could not believe how much they had grown and what good readers they had become. I hope to plan another activity with them soon. This week we have our school assembly, Singing Around the Tree. The third grade has been practicing their song and I think they might steal the show! This coming week before break, we will be finishing a short unit on informative writing and we will be taking our unit 5 math test on Tuesday. We will not have a spelling, vocabulary and comprehension test this week. Winter break begins this Thursday, December 22nd and we return Tuesday, January 3rd. This Wednesday the 21st is a full day of school. Have a great week! Here are some recent pictures from the past couple of weeks: Fun times in Ms. Blauer's PM kinder class: Comments are closed.

Ms. O I was born and raised in Utah. After I graduated from the University of Utah, I lived in California, Texas, Pennsylvania and Hawaii. I am happy to be back in Utah. I enjoy paddle boarding, cooking, hiking, skiing and running. I have two adorable kids who keep me pretty busy. I love Mexican food and coffee. This is my third year at Sunrise and I am so happy to be a part of the Sunrise community. Third grade is my favorite grade! Archives
