I can't believe that it is already December! The weather is starting to get pretty cold. Please make sure your student is bundled up appropriately for the winter weather and snow. Also, please talk to your student about being safe outside in the snow. We do not throw snowballs or ice on the playground. I absolutely enjoyed the kid's Native American projects! It was a great warm up for our culture reports that we will be doing in the spring. I want to give a big shout out to Katherine, Noah M., and Matt for doing a Google Slides presentation. I highly encourage more students to do this for our culture reports. We also had our Hour of Code. The kids were able to create projects by coding. They had a lot of fun doing these! I even joined in on the fun! For the rest of the year, the kids will have more opportunities to code and create projects. They were pretty excited when I told them! I love this time of year at school. I have a lot of fun projects and activities planned for the next week and a half!! Below I have uploaded pictures from our Native American presentations and Hour of Code. Ms. O Comments are closed.

Ms. O I was born and raised in Utah. After I graduated from the University of Utah, I lived in California, Texas, Pennsylvania and Hawaii. I am happy to be back in Utah. I enjoy paddle boarding, cooking, hiking, skiing and running. I have two adorable kids who keep me pretty busy. I love Mexican food and coffee. This is my third year at Sunrise and I am so happy to be a part of the Sunrise community. Third grade is my favorite grade! Archives
